Terms of Use for Alien Bean

Alien Bean is owned and operated by Oneness Universe, a project created by its owner (“Alien Bean,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) explain the rules for using the Alien Bean mobile app, website, content, features, subscriptions, and related services.

By downloading, accessing, or using Alien Bean, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. About Alien Bean

Alien Bean is a gentle character-building app for children and families. The app includes stories, choice-based activities, real-life missions, reflection tools, a heart garden, memory book, and friendly notes from Alien Bean.

Alien Bean is designed to support conversations about values such as kindness, honesty, empathy, courage, gratitude, respect, responsibility, self-control, integrity, and repair.

Alien Bean is provided for general educational and character-building purposes only. It is not a medical, mental health, therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or crisis-support service. It is not a substitute for professional care, parenting judgment, classroom supervision, or advice from qualified professionals.

2. Use by Children

Alien Bean is intended for use by children with the involvement and permission of a parent, guardian, teacher, or trusted adult.

If you are a child, please ask your parent or guardian before using Alien Bean, creating an account, making a purchase, or sharing any information.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a child’s use of Alien Bean and deciding whether the app is appropriate for the child.

3. Account and Access

Some features may require an account, sign-in, subscription, or parental or guardian access.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating or managing an account. You are responsible for keeping your login information safe and for any activity under your account.

You may not use another person’s account without permission.

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if we believe an account is being used in a way that violates these Terms, creates risk, or may harm Alien Bean or other users.

4. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Payments

Alien Bean may offer free features, paid features, free trials, in-app purchases, or auto-renewable subscriptions.

Subscriptions and purchases may be made through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized platform where Alien Bean is available.

If you purchase through the Apple App Store, your payment, renewal, cancellation, refund request, and subscription management are handled by Apple through your Apple account.

If you purchase through Google Play, your payment, renewal, cancellation, refund request, and subscription management are handled by Google through your Google Play account.

We do not collect or store your full credit card number, banking information, Apple payment credentials, or Google Play payment credentials.

Unless canceled before the renewal date, subscriptions may automatically renew according to the terms shown at the time of purchase. You are responsible for managing or canceling your subscription through the platform where you purchased it.

Subscription prices, billing periods, trial periods, renewal terms, and available plans may change from time to time. Any changes will be shown where required before purchase or renewal.

Refunds are handled by the platform where the purchase was made, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

5. License to Use Alien Bean

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Alien Bean for personal, family, classroom, or educational use, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute Alien Bean
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Modify or create derivative works based on Alien Bean
• Use Alien Bean for unlawful, harmful, misleading, or abusive purposes
• Interfere with the security or operation of the app
• Use automated systems to access, scrape, copy, or overload the app
• Remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices

Alien Bean is licensed, not sold.

6. Educational and Character-Building Content

Alien Bean provides stories, activities, prompts, missions, and reflections for general educational and character-building purposes.

The content is designed to be gentle and age-appropriate, but it may not fit every child, family, classroom, culture, or situation. Parents, guardians, and educators should use their own judgment when discussing app content with children.

We do not guarantee any specific educational, emotional, behavioral, health, or personal outcome from using Alien Bean.

7. User Content and Reflections

Alien Bean may allow users to create or save limited content, such as reflections, progress, memory book entries, mission activity, nickname, preferences, or other app interactions (“User Content”).

You are responsible for the User Content created under your account.

Please do not enter sensitive personal information, private family information, medical information, school names, addresses, phone numbers, or other details that are not needed to use the app.

You give us permission to host, store, process, and display User Content only as needed to operate, maintain, personalize, secure, and improve Alien Bean, subject to our Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Alien Bean to:

• Harm, threaten, harass, shame, or bully anyone
• Upload or share unlawful, offensive, violent, hateful, or sexually explicit content
• Impersonate another person
• Violate another person’s privacy or intellectual property rights
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data
• Disrupt or damage the app, servers, or related systems
• Use the app in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been violated.

9. Intellectual Property

Alien Bean, including the app design, Alien Bean mascot, artwork, icons, stories, activities, text, graphics, logos, names, software, and other content, is owned by Oneness Universe or its licensors.

You may not use our name, logo, characters, artwork, screenshots, stories, or other content for commercial purposes without written permission.

You may share ordinary screenshots or app references for personal, educational, review, or promotional purposes, as long as you do not misrepresent ownership, alter the brand in a harmful way, or imply endorsement without permission.

10. Feedback and Suggestions

If you send us ideas, suggestions, feedback, or feature requests, you agree that we may use them without obligation to compensate you.

This helps us improve Alien Bean while avoiding confusion over ownership of product ideas.

11. Updates and Changes to the App

We may update, modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Some features may require an internet connection, compatible device, updated operating system, account access, or active subscription.

We are not responsible if a feature is temporarily unavailable, delayed, changed, or discontinued.

12. Third-Party Services

Alien Bean may use or link to third-party services, including Apple App Store, Google Play, payment platforms, analytics, hosting, support tools, or external websites.

We are not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, billing rules, refund rules, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Privacy

Your use of Alien Bean is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, store, and protect information.

14. Safety and Emergency Situations

Alien Bean is not designed for emergencies, crisis support, or urgent safety situations.

If a child or any person may be in danger, needs urgent help, or may harm themselves or someone else, contact local emergency services, a trusted adult, or a qualified professional immediately.

15. No Professional Advice

Alien Bean may encourage reflection, kindness, empathy, and thoughtful choices. However, the app does not provide medical, psychological, legal, educational, or professional advice.

Any content in Alien Bean should be used as a gentle conversation starter, not as a replacement for professional support or adult judgment.

16. No Warranties

Alien Bean is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties that Alien Bean will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, always available, or suitable for every user or purpose.

We do not guarantee that the app will produce any specific result, improvement, learning outcome, emotional outcome, behavioral outcome, health outcome, or personal outcome.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oneness Universe, Alien Bean, and our team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of access, loss of profits, emotional distress, or other damages arising from use of or inability to use Alien Bean.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some parts of this section may not apply to you.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Oneness Universe, Alien Bean, and our team from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of Alien Bean
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights
• User Content created or submitted through your account

This section does not apply where prohibited by law.

19. Termination

You may stop using Alien Bean at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access to Alien Bean if we believe you have violated these Terms, used the app in a harmful way, created legal risk, or caused harm to the app, users, or our services.

Termination of your Alien Bean account or access does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store, you must manage or cancel it through your Apple account settings.

If you purchased your subscription through Google Play, you must manage or cancel it through your Google Play account settings.

After cancellation, access may continue until the end of the current billing period, depending on the platform’s rules, your subscription plan, and applicable law.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Continued use of Alien Bean after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction where Oneness Universe is legally established or primarily operates, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless local consumer protection laws require otherwise.

If you are located in a region where mandatory consumer protection rights apply, these Terms do not limit those rights.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice where appropriate, such as through the app, website, or other reasonable method.

The updated Terms will become effective when posted or on the effective date stated in the updated Terms.

Your continued use of Alien Bean after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using Alien Bean.
